I'm afraid that they are not protesting. I think it's completely their freedom as to how they address what they are. What they really are is another matter. Basically they can proclaim whatever they want. It all depends on whether or not we believe.

Indeed almost all products are suffered from this inequilibrium. Ths cases are exceptionally larger than their contents. I guess in some cases only 60% of area in boxes, cases are occupied by their contents.
Aside from that, I feel like eating an ice cream bar on a stick, so I rush into the convenience store to buy this product.

When we make an account we need to fill out our birthday. It is our choice whether we give a false information as regards our birthday though we didn't know how our birthday will be used to indicate our age in our profile. I remember I was surprised to see my age when I saw 'my' profile first. And more interestingly, the way of counting does not care how old actually we will be. I mean counting ages does not automatically stop in our natural consequences. I mean counting will continue 50 years, 100 years from now on.
I think this is an interesting feature. Christ was crusified at age 30 but we keep on counting his age as if he were beside us. Regardless of whether he resurrected, his spirit of love and sacrifice keeps on living for ever, and I think it's important.

Since Japan is located at the rim of monsoon affected area, this country usually has a rainy season. But unlike other Asian subtropical area, it only lasts up to one month. Usually June falls on this season, in ancient Japanese term June is called 'the month of rain'. During these days we have lots of rainfall almost every day.
This year we hadn't had a rainy season in June, but only around the midst of July we started having rainfall. It only lasted ten days but all the more the rainfall was intense.

7/20/2006 10:23 AM Yes, I do. I am happy to hear from you.
I am busy working from Monday to Saturday. Sunday is only my day off and I make it a rule to spend my holiday with my 46 year old love. Since she is a mother of 17 year old daughter she has to take care of her child so we are unable to live together. We are responsible for all what we had done, so it's inevitable.
I usually read and write lots of articles in English, I usually spend doing it till 4 am. and go to sleep from 4 am to 9 am. But last night I fell asleep at 1 am, resulting in waking up at 5 am early in the morning. I had time to check your photos that led me to really happy moment for I got your message.
We are always only on the line, but as if we were talking in real.

A man would make money if he felt like eating steaks, and would hang in there if he felt like drinking Johnnie Walker Black Label. I live as I like. I am really afraid of adjusting in society, let alone in company.mercedo
Fellow slashdotter Mercedo archives his journals and comments from Slashdot and elsewhere on the web in several concurrent volumes, sorted by forum and nature of posting, on blogspot. You can reach every volume from his Blogger profile. These used to be numbered as I - X, but recently the classification has changed and there are now 12 named sections. Most volumes are subtitled 'A record of an Age'. Each seems to begin with an extract/translation/interpolation of mercedo's novel 'The Eve'. Many of them have the statement of mercedo's quest and dedication of his journal from his Slashdot profile (This 'Journal of mercedo' is totally dedicated to one woman whom I met with in Trecca, Kyoto, Japan on the 23rd of December, 1986 for the first time and probably the last time in our life[...]My trek continues...)
Trecca
'Early and late selection of Slashdot journals & archives'. One of several archives of mercedo's journal on slashdot.org. Trecca is the name of the coffee shop in Kyoto where mercedo saw the woman his journals are dedicated to.
Kokura
Kokura is mercedo's birthplace. These are further mirrors of slashdot journal entries. It's not obvious how these are divided into their several volumes..
Eiko [vicissitudes, ups & downs]
'This volume includes all comments made in the journals of other users and in mine' The archive of mercedo's comments, as opposed to journal entries, on slashdot.org
Sakura [cherry blossom]
A few extracts from slashdot journals. Starts with an exploration of the japanese word 'sakura' and the coincidence with the latin word 'sacra', root of 'sacred' and 'sacrament'.
Slado
Slado is the nickname of slashdot.jp - the japanese slashdot. This contains archived postings from that site. I am not sure if it also includes posts from other places - or if mercedo at one point stopped writing on slado (?) but in november 2005 the comment "I used to post all comments made in Slashdot Jp site here. Now this site is reserved to be used in future for writing or storing journals & comments" appears.
Eve
Two long pieces from 'The Eve' (?) and links to other journals. As stated most volumes start with what seems to be a piece from this novel. I don't know whether they are translations, summaries, retellings or direct extracts. I have not been able to find information about this novel that mercedo mentions in his profile text. The title nicely refers to either the first woman on earth, or the end of the day.
Onoda
This very useful volume gives links to mercedo's homepages on many of the different sites and communities where he has posted, including deviantArt, theDailyKos, groupehudson and of course slashdot, slashdot.jp and technocrat.net. Onoda is the name of a famous Japanese soldier who continued fighting guerrilla war on a Pacific island for decades after Japan's surrender, paranoid to the last that information about the war's end was a psychological trick by the enemy.
Mer Cedo
More archived journal entries from slashdot. These often are about mercedo personally, in particular including the hours he works each week. Some include the complete discussion.
Aristo
Mirror of journal entries from technocrat.net. As ever though there seems to be overlap - some comments from slashdot.org, also slashcode.com, perl.org [!] are included here? The play on words between aristo- and techno-crat is clear, but the does the word also refer to Aristotle? Remembering mercedo's sig ("--Ancient Greek Philosophers -18c Enlightenment Thinkers -Slashdotters") I interpret this as suggesting that mercedo identifies himself both in the tradition of Aristotle, and as the "raised up as a most prosperous guy" aristo.
Harbour
'Journals other than Slashdot &Technocrat.net'. Mercedo comments on multiple forum sites. Although as mentioned there is a lot of confusion between different categories here on the blogspot mirrors/archives, it seems that in general posts are not repeated or crossposted between different sites. Some of these sites, such as perl.org or slashcode.com are in general for discussion of a specific topic. My guess is that mercedo explores different sites as a way of getting perspective or a fresh start, and then often returns to slashdot.org for the bulk of his entries. Then each volume of the archive ends up getting these slashdot posts added to it.
Rose
Subtitled 'Corrosion Journals'. Includes a copy of a story submitted to kuro5hin. The most recent entry is a list of mercedo's fans from slashdot
Eikoon
A seemingly very recent volume containing only a couple of entries about working hours.
I have found mercedo to be one of the most interesting journallers on slashdot. Finding his own mirrors of his work gave me a new chance to appreciate and explore it. In particular, I think someone's classification of their own work can sometimes be as revealing as the words themselves, especially when they take this as seriously as mercedo seems to. I hope that if anyone else is interested they find this summary useful.
I have learned a lot about humanities, but not about technology. I must say I am not a technocrat. That doesn't matter, I want to write a journal so I am.mercedo

Yes. He did it in a game. So he received a red card and had to dismiss from the game. If he did it on the street, he had to go to geol and in the first place usually we don't butt someone in the chest on the street. He was able to do it because it was in a game. Game is just a game. It doesn't matter at all whether it is FIFA World Cup Final. Cause is much more important than games. He defended his cause right after he got insulted ( probably ). So For me he is a nice guy who is honest to his emotion. Probably you have a different opinion, and my defence to him does not mean I approve of his use of force of any kinds in a game. First of all, I don't approve of his deed. However..
For us, soccer is a game. It was FIFA World Cup Final, so it was definitely the most important event in soccer, but still it is a game. We've got to take into consideration that his deed was much more implicit than mere headbutting. Headbutting in a game was a violation in a game, but fight against any discrimination is in accordance with our reason. We need to get the message from what he wanted us to see.
Headbutting in a game resulted in his receiving merely a red card. The same act on the street results in his going to geol. He did what he could do only in a game. He will remain a good player of the game for ever.

In Tokyo 23 special districts anyway we can hardly find any electric poles -almost all are dug in underground. In the case of Tokyo or more advanced city alike we can find a road for cars and a pavement for pedestrians and trees are planted in equal distance in pavement for pedestrians. This is a perfect model in a very planned city. Here in my home town, there are many cases we can find only one road for cars, pedestrians, electric poles.

The Meaning Of Marriage

Kids ought to be a result of love, not a purpose. I don't want kids since they prevent us from achieving a perfect accord by two free will. Also once we had kids, we would start loving kids, not our partners. We start thinking of the benefit of our kids in the first place, not our partners. We have to share everything with our kids, not only with our partners. It takes many years to raise our children. We are already mid-forties. We enjoy our lives in the first place.

Cock here meant tap or valve.
Of course I know another meaning, indeed many ordinary words are used in many different ways -some of them are abused in sexual ways. This word is just one of them. So I didn't care.
If she did so with knowing another meaning of it, she must be a genius.
